A shift in attention can alter the pain of time bounded restraint. That shift is from the sense bounded, fact and purpose choked focus to unconscious awakening. But what is that? That is what it is not.

If I can't stop my mind, at least I can laugh about it.

In order to float upon the given I must become lighter than it is. To do that I must disengage from the gravitational pull of what constitutes the given. To do that I must maintain an open, free or empty mind. It is the objects of mind which generate the gravity of the given. By attaching to the objects of mind I am as loaded down as what I'm attached to.
